Normally a soul aquires a human body through being born. However, I read once that a soul can enter another soul's body by literally swapping places. This soul exchange can only happen if both souls are in total agreement. Like dying, the old soul returns home to the afterlife plane. The new soul immediately enters the human body. I understood that the old soul was very depressed and rather than waste a human body that could be used by another soul, agreed this soul exchange to take place. This inspired me to write 'Home take me Home' in which the suffering old soul is calling out to be rescued and taken home. It could also apply to a normal leaving of a soul. I wrote this song only days after the passing of my own Mother.
